A MAN is in hospital after he was wounded in a drive-by shooting on Wednesday night.

Police said the incident occurred around 11pm, when a man was standing near a home located on Dunmore Street.

The occupants of a tinted green Avalon vehicle approached the man and shot him before speeding off. The victim was rushed to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.
