On Saturday,
February12, U.S. Ambassador, Her Excellency Nicole A. Avant made her
third visit to Freeport on Grand Bahama Island.  Her visit included a
dialogue with female high school students at the Freeport Container
Port, a meeting with government officials, and a visit to the Grand
Bahamas Children's Home.  Ambassador Avant also gave the keynote address
at the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce's Annual Banquet and
Installation, where she encouraged Grand Bahamas' business leaders to
continue investing their time and energy in the most precious resource
