Well well -- it would appear that D. Paul is going to give us a lesson today on how to be an exterminator according to the title of this article, kill the ants you may state with a look of disbelief on your face. Not really, this article is all about being a totally positive person at all times thus succeeding at all that you undertake in life.

You see, I'm repeating many things in these articles as I endeavor to bring home points to you my valued readers that will assist you to consistently succeed. So I'm actually dealing with the importance of having the right attitude once again in order to be successful across the board.

So D. Paul, what on earth do you mean by today's title kill the ants? Well let me explain. I was watching an intriguing lecture on PBS Television recently given by bestselling author Dr. Daniel G. Amen who wrote the book "Change Your Brain Change Your Life." And he said that we must consistently kill The ants just as soon as they enter the sanctuary of our fertile mind. Oh my God, he really is crazy, you may say. Ants in your mind -- has Reilly had a nervous breakdown?

No my friend, I'm completely sane. A.N.T.S. is an acronym used by Dr. Amen that stands for automatic negative thoughts. When I heard that expression used by Dr. Amen, I thought that by latching onto this cute phrase, it would remind us in a unique way not to allow any A.N.T.S. (automatic negative thoughts) to remain in our mind.

Yes my friend, in the future, whenever you encounter some A.N.T.S. (automatic negative thoughts) entering your mind, either from the outside, from people or events taking place in your immediate environment at home or at work, or from the inside, from your own subconscious, you immediately exterminate those nasty little monsters, which could wreck your chances of ever getting to the promised land. Yes indeed, you must consistently kill the ants before they infest your mind.
