Every part of the journey counts

I'm quite sure that you've heard someone at some time say something like this, "I really don't know why I have to keep on going through difficult times in my life -- what's the purpose of it all?" Yes indeed, many utter such phrases over and over again as they sail through bad weather and extremely turbulent seas. Quite frankly, I'll admit to the fact that I have indeed been quite puzzled on many occasions in my life by the circumstances which I found myself in at various times in my life as I looked upward and queried my Creator as to why I was going through what we so often term as pure hell. However, as I started to study this thing called life in much greater detail and thus learned many of the universal laws for living which govern the world and our individual lives, I began to realize that whatever I was going through in life which I did not like, I had in fact caused to happen by my previous thoughts, words and or actions.

Yes indeed, if we wish to change any part of our life, we must first and foremost own up to the fact that we ourselves have in fact caused whatever is happening in our life right now. So we accept responsibility for everything in our life and stop playing the blame game, which as I wrote about on many occasions is for losers. Once we take full responsibility for every facet of our life, the successes and the failures, then we are on the road to success city.

Yes indeed, life is a journey -- a journey of discovery. And as today's title puts it, every part of the journey counts, yes it does. Why even the terrible failures too. In fact, many people learn more from their failures than they do from their successes -- this is a fact, just ask Thomas Edison who failed 10,000 times before perfecting the electric light bulb. Yes indeed, every part of the journey counts. Yes it does.
