Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham will table the memorandum of understanding (MOU) the government signed with Cable and Wireless Communications (CWC) this afternoon in the House of Assembly.
Ingraham made that announcement yesterday in the House when he tabled the final Baha Mar agreement.
The Nassau Guardian understands that yesterday the government and CWC executives were working out the final details of the agreement for the sale of 51 percent of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC).
Ingraham said he also hopes to be in a position to table other accompanying documents regarding the privatization of BTC.
The House of Assembly adjourned yesterday until 3 o’clock this afternoon.
