The Ministry of Tourism has a new Junior Minister of Tourism and he is Grand Bahama's own Gabriele Josephs, a student of Mary Star of the Sea Catholic School. Mr. Josephs was among twelve contestants from across The Bahamas to compete for this prestigious honour. The competition included an essay competition and a question and answer component. The new junior minister is pictured posing with the senior executive team of the Ministry of Tourism. From left is Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Harrison Thompson, Mr. Josephs, Minister of Tourism the Honourable Obie Wilchombe and the ministry's Director General Mrs. Joy Jibrilu.

The event took place on Thursday, 28th April 2016 at Super Clubs Breezes on Cable Beach, Nassau Bahamas.
