A 57-YEAR-OLD grandfather who admitted possessing child pornography and committing incest with his granddaughter was sent to prison for 12 years yesterday.
The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his granddaughter, pleaded guilty earlier this week to taking nude photographs of the girl – who was 14 at the time – between June and July 13, 2009.
He also admitted to uploading the photographs onto his laptop computer.
The man also admitted to performing a sex act on his granddaughter – which constitutes incest under Bahamian law.
