Blue Balloon Launch: Dunkin’ Donuts staff joins the Seahorse Institute at its Blue Balloon Launch event to commemorate Autism Awareness Month.

Dunkin’ Donuts, The Bahamas’ all-day, everyday stop for coffee, sandwiches and baked goods, teamed up with the Seahorse Institute to kick off an in-store donation campaign to support those affected by Autism in the Bahamas throughout the month of April, which is recognized globally as Autism Awareness Month. From April 1st to April 30th, Dunkin’ Donuts Bahamas invites the local community, its customers, and staff to participate in the brand’s fundraising and awareness campaign that fully benefits the Seahorse Institute, its programs, and awareness initiatives.

Dunkin’ Donuts Bahamas is excited to partner with Seahorse Institute in launching the in-store donation campaign for the first time for such a great cause. Visitors to Dunkin’ will have the opportunity to donate their amount of choice with their purchase at any Dunkin’ Donuts Bahamas restaurant, or through in-store donation boxes available at each location. In addition, the brand took a fun twist on the initiative by offering blue-frosted Autism Awareness Donuts at each Dunkin’ Donuts Bahamas restaurant for purchase during the entire month.

“We’re really proud and excited to support the Seahorse Institute. At Dunkin’ Donuts, we take pride in giving back to the community in many ways, and partnering with an organization like the Seahorse Institute, that provides care and support services vital to those living with autism, certainly inspires us to continue to do more to make a difference in our community,” said Vanessa Eneas, Director of Operations at Dunkin’ Donuts Bahamas.

In the midst of the new partnership, both organizations welcomed the opportunity to team up once again, this time in making the birthday of each child at Seahorse Institute a little more special by offering complimentary Dunkin’ Donuts birthday treats to celebrate their special day.

“It’s amazing how Dr. Major and the Seahorse Institute team has truly made a difference in the lives of those living with autism, and we are happy to celebrate along with them the birthday of each of their students by making their day a little more special. We commend Seahorse for their long-standing commitment to raising education, awareness, and support services for this condition and we look forward to the success of this continued partnership”, said Eneas.
