'Kimbo Slice' signs up for pro wrestling

AFTER a brief but much-hyped stint in the world of mixed martial arts, Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson looks to capitalize once again on his notoriety, this time with an attempt at professional wrestling.

Ferguson has signed on for a pro wrestling event - The Inoki Genome Federation's "Genome 14" - to be staged in Japan on February 5. His opponent, as part of an eight-man tournament, will be former sumo wrestler Shinichi "Wakakirin" Suzukawa.
