Today Syracuse University became the New Battle 4 Atlantis 2015 Champions!
The moment we all were waiting for. The final battle, the grand finale at the Battle 4 Atlantis 2015, Texas A&M VS Syracuse. Almost immediately into the game Michael Gbinije delivered the first blow with a wide open 3 pointer to start off what was definitely an exciting game. As the crowd went wild, Danual House wasted no time answering back on the other side with a runaway lay up. Though it was early in the game, it seemed like Texas had control managing to make it to 7 points before Syracuse was able to score again. However, Trevor Cooney quickly changed that by nailing a clean 3 pointer which would be his first of two in the first half. Cooney would go on to lead the team in points by the end of the half with 10 points total, 6 of which came from the 3 point line.

The Syracuse defense started to pick up as Texas began to struggle with field goals as DuJuan Coleman made his presence felt while being that massive defensive force on the court. Visibly Texas struggled to make points while Syracuse continued scoring uncontested jump shots and driving in for easy lay ups. As expected, Texas regained composure and managed to tie the game then take the lead being up 35 - 29.

Determined for his Syracuse team to come out on top Micheal Gbinije scored a crucial 3 pointer, draws the foul and lands the free throw at just 00.3 seconds left in the half putting the game at 35 - 33, having them only trail by 2 by the end of the first half. The crowd roar, screaming, "Let's Go Orange" as teams knew it was time to gear up for a tough second half.

During the second half Malachi Richardson put in a lot of work for his team making big plays, picking up foals. The second half teeter between ties and 1 to 2 point leads on either side but eventually Syracuse was able to open up 7 point plus lead and it was able to hold onto it until the final buzzer. At the end of it all it was Syracuse who came out on top, 74-67

Congratulations Syracuse, the 2015 Battle 4 Atlantis 2015 champions.
