FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- The Ministry of Tourism's Call Center is now ready and equipped to service inter-island travel through a new partnership with Bahamian-operated booking engine BahamaGo.
Since its inception in January 2014, the Call Center - launched by Island Outsourcers - has remained a major asset to The Islands of The Bahamas through the Bahamas.com and 1-800-Bahamas communication tools.
This new partnership with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and BahamaGo has now positioned Call Center agents to facilitate the booking process for both international and domestic travelers.
According to Director for Global Communications in the Ministry of Tourism Andre Miller, this new partnership will "provide more ownership of our consumer experience and will ensure the proper quality assurance to convert the consumer."
BahamaGo will provide a web-based portal for call center agents to utilize the technology and execute domestic travel packaging for air and hotel arrangements.
