We all know that when it comes to our house, car, boat or plane, we simply must carry out regular maintenance on all of these on a regular basis if we wish them to remain in tip-top workable condition. That's right, we make sure that our roof is waterproof, the windows all work properly and indeed everything else is totally functional in our house -- we do not just allow it to fall into a state of disrepair where the roof leaks, the windows don't close properly, etc.

Likewise, with our automobile or boat, we get them serviced on a regular basis to make sure that everything is working as it should thus they will not let us down on the highway or high seas. Even more important, if we own or lease a plane, there is a very definite maintenance schedule that must be followed and recorded in the Log Book. If we do not take care of the vital preventative maintenance, we could be in a whole lot of trouble.

Well my friend, your physical body is a most remarkable piece of divine engineering which likewise, if it is to operate successfully for you and indeed have long life, must be properly maintained. That's right, it's amazing how many people get all of the necessary preventative maintenance carried out on their automobile, and yet are totally delinquent when it comes to maintaining their own divinely created body in tip-top physical condition.

Finally, you need to develop calmness and peace of mind through regular daily meditation. Yes indeed, preventative maintenance on your body will ensure a long, productive, health-filled life.
