As Tropical Storm Erika approaches The Bahamas, the National Prescription Drug Plan of the National Insurance Board released the following guidelines for its members on early prescription refills.

THE NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG PLAN OF NIB ISSUES HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS GUIDELINES FOR ITS MEMBERS

The National Prescription Drug Plan wishes to advise its members that should a “Hurricane Watch or Warning” be issued, NIB will allow early prescription refills. If you have less than a two week supply of medication, please present your ACE Prescription Card to any participating pharmacy to obtain a refill.
