GENERAL SITUATION: The combination of a high pressure ridge and a well established Saharan dust layer will continue to produce breezy and stable conditions across the islands today and tonight.

Monday 6th – Partly to mostly sunny, hot, hazy and humid conditions with the slight chance of a brief passing shower or even possible isolated thunderstorms across the Extreme Northwest and Southeast Bahamas this afternoon, turning fair and warm tonight. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas, Winds E-SE 10-15 knots falling light & variable at times across the Northwest Bahamas and E-SE 15-20 knots across the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-7 feet across the Central & Southeast Bahamas

Tuesday 7th – Mostly sunny and hot with a chance of isolated showers mainly across the Central Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Winds E-SE 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas E 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-7 feet elsewhere.

Wednesday 8th – Partly sunny and hot with the chance of a few isolated showers. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Winds E at 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and E 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3-5 feet in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-7 feet in the remainder of the islands.

Thursday 9th – Partly sunny, humid and warm with few showers expected and possible afternoon or evening isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 90°F and Minimum Temperature 78°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas. Winds E 10 – 15 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, but E 15-20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas.
