The Board of Directors of REACH announced that Rickcardo Miller has been named the Acting President effective May 12, 2015. Mr. Miller, formerly the Co-Vice President, has served with REACH since 2009.

Miller will succeed Mario Carey, who is stepping down after a five-year tenure as President.

Miller has been a member of REACH’s executive team for five years serving as Co-Vice President with Kim Gibson. In his role as Co-Vice President he has provided invaluable service as the External Affairs Liaison and Parent Support Group Chair.

Miller is the proud father of four, three boys and one girl – Joel age 10, Jude age 8 and twins Jordan and Joanna age 5. Jude was diagnosed with autism at age 3 and currently attends The Nassau School and is progressing well.

In his role as Acting President he will spearhead REACH’s 2015 mandate to increase the availability of therapy to those individuals who desperately need it but cannot afford it.

“REACH’s Board of Directors is grateful to Mario Carey for his many significant contributions to the organization during his tenure," said Dwayne Gibson, Chair of the Board of Directors. "There is no doubt that REACH is well positioned for continued growth and success and the entire Board of Directors has full confidence in Rickcardo Miller and the existing senior leadership team."
