The girls also heard from Aisha Bowe, a Bahamian aerospace engineer at NASA who told them that it did not matter where they came from, nor what limits are placed or spoken over them. The co-founder and CEO of STEMBoard told the girls that if they work hard and really want something they can achieve it.

During the three-day weekend of activities, the students toured the National Art Gallery and the College of The Bahamas. They also participated in career workshops, community service, a general knowledge and essay exam, and visited Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture Dr. Daniel Johnson; Minister for Social Services Melanie Griffin, and COB President Dr. Rodney Smith.
