HBO Premiers Four Exciting Films in April

HBO delivers a month full of laughs and excitement this April with exclusive film premieres each Saturday at 21:00 hrs. AST* in the Caribbean.

In the action comedy Ride Along (Saturday, April 4), directed by Tim Story, Ben (Kevin Hart) seeks approval from James (Ice Cube), his girlfriend’s brother, to ask for her hand in marriage. When James asks Ben to join him in his patrol to prove he’s worthy of marrying her, the two have no idea what they are getting themselves into. The film also features performances by Tika Sumpter, John Leguizamo (Santiago), Bruce McGill (Lt. Brooks) and Laurence Fishburne (Omar).

Disney reimagines the 1959 animated film ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in the live-action remake Maleficent (Saturday, April 11), starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning. In the dark fantasy film, Maleficent (Jolie) is driven to curse baby Aurora (Fanning) after suffering a broken heart, but soon discovers that the child could be the only person who can restore her peace. Directed by Robert Stromberg.

In Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West (Saturday, April 18), mild-mannered Albert Stark (MacFarlane) is down on his luck and loses his girlfriend, Louise (Amanda Seyfried), to Foy (Neil Patrick Harris), the town's most successful businessman. But when the beautiful, pistol-packing Anna (Charlize Theron) rides into town, she helps Albert find his inner courage, which he must then put to the test when Anna's outlaw husband (Liam Neeson) arrives with plans to seek revenge.

Ender’s Game (Saturday, April 25) is a science fiction film directed by Gavin Hood. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited by international military after the attack of an alien force that almost ends the human race. He comes the best player in his training and therefore becomes a key element in ending the war. The film also features performances by Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin and Viola Davis.
