On Thursday, March 19, 2015, Opposition Leader,the Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis, addressed journalism students at The College of The Bahamas. Dr. Minnis in his remarks described the role of a journalists as "challenging".He called for more people of integrity and courage to join the profession.

Dr. Minnis' remarks to COB's Journalism Class were certainly a stark contract to what Prime Minister Christie says of journalists, i.e. that those in the media who criticize his leadership capability can go "to hell."
