GENERAL SITUATION: Frontal trough lies in the vicinity of the Northwest Bahamas.

Tuesday 24th – Variable cloudiness with scattered showers and the chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the Northwest Bahamas and partly sunny with a chance of showers elsewhere; fair tonight. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds variable at 10 knots or less becoming E-SE at 10 knots tonight in the Northwest Bahamas and S-SW at 10 knots light and variable at times, shifting to NE-E at 10 knots of less tonight in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean.

Wednesday 25th – Partly cloudy and warm with few isolated showers. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds E-SE 10-15 knots. Seas 2-4 feet or less over the ocean.

Thursday 26th – Partly sunny warm and humid with scattered showers mainly during the late morning through the night. Maximum Temperature 83°F and Minimum Temperature 65°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Northwest Bahamas. Winds SSE-SSW 15-20 knots in the Northwest Bahamas & Central Bahamas and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.

Friday 27th – Cloudy warm and humid with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms mainly in the vicinity of the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 81°F and Minimum Temperature 66°F. Small Craft Caution in effect .Winds SSE-SSW 15-20 in the northern and central islands and SE at 15-20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.

Saturday 28th – Widespread showers and possible thunderstorms in most of the islands with few isolated showers in the southern islands and gradual clearing by late night or early Sunday morning. Maximum Temperature 80°F and Minimum Temperature 64°F. Winds SW 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas & Central Bahamas at first becoming NE 15-20 knots during the nighttime in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, but light and variable at 10 knots in the southern islands during the day and NE at 15 knots at nighttime. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean and increasing 4-6 feet during the night in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 1-3 feet increasing 2-4 feet during the night.

Sunday 29th – Mostly sunny and pleasant in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms in the southern islands. Maximum Temperature 78°F and Minimum Temperature 64°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas.Winds NE15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas light and variable in the southern islands at first and NE at 15 knots during the night. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Northwest& Central Bahamas and 1-3 feet at first in the Southeast Bahamas and increasing 3-5 feet during the night in the Southeast Bahamas.
