GENERAL SITUATION: A strong cold front will slide through the Northwest Bahamas by this evening while an old frontal boundary gradually dissipates near the southern islands.

Maximum Temperature 77°F and Minimum Temperature 59°F. Small Craft Should remain in Port in the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Winds W-NW 15-25 knots increasing to 20-30 knots with higher gusts by this afternoon in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and variable at 10 knots or less turning SW-W 10-15 knots by afternoon in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 5-8 feet over the ocean building 8-12 feet by noon in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 1-3 feet building 2-4 feet by noon in the southern islands.
