Cable Bahamas celebrates grand opening of flagship store

Cable Bahamas unveiled its new flagship store in the Mall at Marathon on Saturday, with promises of an in-store experience unlike any other in the country. The company is calling the new location the "REV Customer Experience Centre", which is designed to expand its range of services, increase its capacity to serve its subscribers and provide a new venue for new and existing customers to experience the products and services the company provides.
The launch event featured a live performance by Bahamian music sensation Angelique Sabrina, who was accompanied by nearly 100 dancers in an exciting "flash mob" medley of her popular songs. The Royal Bahamas Police Force Pop Band also brought a rousing selection of traditional Bahamian songs and Christmas favorites.
The more than 150 attendees were treated to fine hors d'oeuvres and beverages, a custom-made cake emblazoned with the REV brand name, as well as free gifts and promotional items. The press and invited guests were given a guided tour of the 5,000-square-foot facility, which is more than triple the size of its previous Mall at Marathon location.
The enhanced flagship store opened for business on Monday, December 15, with operating hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. It is the first time that the company's REV brand and its core product categories -- REVTV digital television, REVOICE home and business phone service, and REVON broadband Internet - can be seen and experienced in one unified space.
Located in the Mall at Marathon's food court wing, the ultra-modern REV store combines service, style and technology to create an environment that aptly represents the company's revolutionary brands.
Cable Bahamas' complement of knowledgeable staff is available to offer information about the company's latest services and promotional offers and assist with all customer needs, including bill payments, account inquiries, transfers, new service activation and disconnections.
Store visitors can also learn more about Cable Bahamas' REVON, REVTV and REVOICE services through using three custom-designed information pods. Each interactive pod is assigned a REV service and will feature touch-screen monitors, which guests will use to navigate through a menu of service topics.
The information pods are just one of the ways the company has employed today's latest technology to assist with shaping an in-store atmosphere that is captivating, fun, and accommodating. The retail store and customer support center also features a 15-foot video wall used to display additional details and information about the company and its range of services. These elements, coupled with vivid graphics and a sleek design, are what Cable Bahamas Head of Marketing David Burrows said make the REV store more than a mere retail outlet.
"This is a new day in the life of Cable Bahamas," Burrows said. "The REV Customer Experience Centre provides our customers with new and exciting ways for our customers to know who we are and what we do. This is also another tangible display of the evolution of our company as the premiere provider of entertainment and communications services."
