1/3 of Bahamas hotels 'inundated' by sea rise

More than one-third of all Bahamian resorts - some 77 in total - would be "inundated" if sea levels rose one metre as a result of global warming a climate change, a new study has revealed, with the Bahamas facing infrastructure and tourism plant rebuilding costs of between $5.6 billion and $11 billion in 2050 if this phenomenon continues unchecked.
