Morton Salt suffers millions in damages from Hurricane Irma

As reports come in from the Southeastern Bahamas it?s clear that the country has taken yet another economic blow.

The Morton Salt Factory in Inagua has yet again suffered extensive damage from a major hurricane. Still recovering from Hurricane Joaquin which hit in 2015 initial estimates put the damage from Hurricane Irma in the millions.

Activity at container port spikes as Irma approaches

With Hurricane Irma set to impact The Bahamas, cargo release efforts have significantly spiked at the Nassau Container Port (NCP) this week when compared to the prior week.
