Colina teamed up with Reach out Youth Organization on a back-to-school giveaway to spread love in Grand Bahama and ensure every child starts the school year with confidence. Rotary Satellite Club of Nassau (RSCN) on Cat Island's Back to School Jamboree was held last Saturday at Our Kids Arcade, New Bight, with love packages containing school supplies, free arcade tokens, a painting station, as well as food and beverages for those in attendance.

US Ambassador donates 10,000 in books to the 'Read to Lead' programme
UNITED States Ambassador to the Bahamas Nicole Avant donated $10,000 in books to the Ministry of Education to support the US Embassy-initiated "Read To Lead" programme during an official handover presentation.
Funding for the book donation was provided by the US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM).
Read To Lead is a nationwide reading and mentoring programme for students in grades 4-6.
