Police: Domestic violence reports on the increase
Police have noticed a recent uptick in reports of domestic violence, but in many cases have been able to intervene before things could come to a head, according to Superintendent Stephen Dean, who heads the Urban Renewal 2.0 Programme.
He said police saturation of the community through Urban Renewal 2.0 has likely saved lives.
