A jury yesterday unanimously convicted a man accused of robbing the owner of a grocery store chain.
Prosecutors alleged that Clifford Miller held up Rupert Roberts, the owner of Super Value Food Stores Ltd., when he burglarized his home on March 3, 2010.

342k worth of marijuana found in Ragged Island chain

Police seized $342,000 worth of marijuana Monday after a tip led officers to a location in the Ragged Island chain.
According to police, officers attached to Operation Bahamas, Turks and Caicos (OPBAT) based in Exuma travelled to Buena Vista Cay and discovered 38 packages of marijuana.
The drugs reportedly weighed 342 pounds.
