Man arrested in relation to attempted rape and stabbing

Police arrested a man over the weekend who they believe stabbed a woman several times, after he attempted to sexually assault her in her home on Thursday.
Officers from the Flying Squad arrested the man, 33, of Garden Hills, at a motel on East Street South on Saturday around 4 p.m.
