China executes Japanese drug smuggler

China has executed a Japanese man convicted of drug smuggling, China's official Xinhua news agency reported.

Prescription Drug Plan expanded to include fourth group of Bahamians

Phase I of the National Prescription Drug Plan (NPDP) has been expanded to include Bahamian citizens over 65 years of age who are not eligible to receive NIB pensions either as a result of insufficient contributions for a contributory benefit or, have more than adequate resources for a non-contributory assistance, NPDP Manager Tami Francis said.

Jamaica paying the price for mixing politics and drug gangs

Given the way Jamaican celebrities like Bob Marley have glorified ganja (marijuana), foreigners can be forgiven for thinking that it is the national crop of Jamaica. And Jamaicans can be forgiven for making folk heroes of men who defiantly use marijuana, or even profit from the sale of it.
