Experts: Illegal drug transit label won't discourage FDI

Despite U.S. President Barack Obama naming The Bahamas as a major drug transit or drug producing country, local business experts say that the label won't dissuade foreign investors.
Managing Partner of HLB Galanis Philip Galanis and former Chamber of Commerce President and Superwash chief Dionisio D'Aguilar spoke with Guardian Business and share the same sentiments, that The Bahamas'presence on President Obama's"Drug Majors"â list is solely because its location acts as a checkpoint for the buying and selling countries.
