Local swimmers were in action for the first time in the calendar year on Saturday and made CARIFTA cuts at the 1st Bert Bell Memorial Meet at the Betty Kelly-Kenning National Aquatics Center. Freeport Aquatics Club was the host club.

Bahamas Aquatics issues warning to unauthorized groups
The Bahamas Aquatics Federation (BAF) has issued a stern warning to any other organization offering Bahamas Aquatics’ disciplines to cease and desist these activities, citing that these unauthorized and unregulated organizations are not authorized to carry out the Bahamas Aquatics COVID-19 safety protocols that are approved by the Ministry of Health.

Bastian, Morley make 'B' cut in swimming Mako three-peats
It's been a long time coming but on the final day to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Bahamian and Barracuda Swim Club's Izaak Bastian was able to make the Olympic 'B' standard time in the 100 meters (m) breaststroke. This performance took place at the Bahamas Aquatics Federation's 49th Rev National Swimming Championships yesterday morning at the Betty Kelly-Kenning National Swim Complex.
