PACBO looks to expand Cuba training for locals
The working relationship between the Pan American Caribbean Boxing Organization and the Amateur Boxing Federation of The Bahamas could result in the very near future, in an expanded 'project' of Bahamian boxers training in Cuba.

THE Amateur Boxing Association of Grand Bahama is scheduled to host a multi-island tournament involving over 18 boxers from Grand Bahama's YMCA Boxing Club, Genesis Amateur Boxing Club, several clubs from Nassau and one from Inagua.

Swimmers' medal haul
Three of the five swimmers from the Grand Bahama YMCA's Wave Runners Swim Club, who competed at this month's CARIFTA Games, returned from Jamaica with medals.
Aaron Levarity won two golds and a bronze, Taryn Smith won a silver and two bronze medals (two of them in individual events), while Maya Albury came back with a bronze medal.
