Sky Pole Donates $60,000 Air Conditioning System to Association’s New Headquarters

Christmas came early for a major youth organization last week when Sky Pole Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Services pledged to equip the new West Bay Street headquarters for Bahamas Girl Guides with a complete air-conditioning system.

Lost camera hitches 1099m ride on sea turtle

A Photographer was reunited with a camera he had lost in the Caribbean after a sea turtle swam all the way to Florida with it.

De Telegraaf said the camera's strap caught on the reptile's shell after Dutchman Dick de Bruin dropped it in the sea during a trip to Aruba last November.

Three men were shot dead in separate incidents in New Providence over the weekend, police said.
The latest murder took place in Union Village at 12:45 p.m. yesterday, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police Anthony Ferguson.
