Through his research activities and his service on a number of university committees, Dr. Moxey has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the goals of UB-North and the wider UB community. As its new Dean of Faculty, Dr. Moxey is expected to serve UB-North with distinction by utilizing his intellectual acumen, professional experiences, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Dr. Moxey’s tenure at COB/UB has also highlighted his genuine desire for the educational success and overall development of his students, as well as his commitment to the general growth of the University as an institution. He has been lauded for his high standard of excellence and his alacrity to cooperate and develop positive relationships with colleagues throughout the institution.

He has also made other invaluable contributions to the Grand Bahama community through his service to a number of organizations over the years. These include the Junior Achievement Program; Bahamas National Trust GB Branch; and the UsTOO Prostate Cancer Education and Support Group.

When not working, Dr. Moxey enjoys golf, reading, and long beach walks as his favorite forms of rest and relaxation. He is the proud father of one daughter, Andrea, and the grandfather of one grandson, Andre.
