Rebirth of "Regattas In The Abaco" (RiTA): A Spectacular Success
Befitting the recent announcement that Sailing is now the national sport of the Bahamas, The Abacos witnessed an outstanding success in the first year of the rebirth of the summer sailing regatta. From June 25th to July 1st, between Elbow Cay and Green Turtle Cay, participants were treated to a series of five thrilling sailing races.

TREASURE CAY, Abaco -- Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Co. Ltd. helped Abaconians to enjoy the 42nd Bahamian Independence celebrations in a "Truly Bahamian" way with their Sands 'Man in The Boat' sculling races. Sculling races take Abaco by storm
Bahamian Brewery and Sands Beer held its "Man in the Boat" Sculling Races for Abaco in Treasure Cay, Abaco this past weekend. Bahamians from all islands came to Abaco to participate in the event. The sculling races were preceded by a motorcade on Friday to stir up excitement for the next day, and got Abaconians enthused for the sculling that was to come.
