Expenses spike 3.6M at FOCOL

While gross profits have grown more than $4 million at FOCOL Holdings Limited, expenses and the sluggish economy chipped away at the bottom line.

Petroleum retailers consider strike action

The Bahamas Petroleum Retailers Association (BPRA) could have a strike vote tonight that could cut gas supplies and cripple transportation in The Bahamas if the government does not increase their sales margins as soon as possible, the group's Assistant Chairman Greg Burrows told The Nassau Guardian yesterday.
