Arson suspected in dump fire

Officials believe a large blaze at the New Providence Landfill yesterday was an act of arson.
"Initial reports lead us to suspect that tires were intentionally lit in the early morning hours," Environment Minister Kenred Dorsett said in a statement.
While officials said the fire was contained at 2 p.m., they said it could be a week before it is completely put out.
