Rosewood argues its departure won't harm developers
Rosewood, the luxury hotel brand attempting to terminate its myriad license and managerial agreements with Baha Mar, has argued that ending its partnership with the stalled $3.5 billion project will not "greatly prejudice" the resort's developers due to Baha Mar's underlying violation of the terms of the groups' license agreement.

Rosewood indicates likely to sue Baha Mar
Even as it accused Baha Mar of numerous "incurable" breaches in agreements, Rosewood has indicated the likelihood that it will sue the resort developer after its losses have continued to mount following what it termed Baha Mar's "surprise filing" for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, itself a default under the license agreement and other Rosewood hotel agreements.
