Fourth edition of the Bahamas Bowl set for December 22

'Cultural icon', author and poet Sylvia Laramore-Crawford dies

"CULTURAL icon", poet, author and former Tribune columnist Sylvia Laramore-Crawford has died in hospital.

According to reports, the beloved writer passed away on Sunday night in New Providence.

A close friend said Mrs Laramore-Crawford had been battling diabetes but she did not complain of being sick.
