Two businesses impacted by roadworks get 7,000 each

The first two business owners to be compensated as a part of the government's program to assist entrepreneurs adversely affected by the New Providence Road Improvement Project (NPRIP) collectively received about $14,000, according to Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham.

3 million-plus contract awarded for roadworks in Inagua

INAGUA, The Bahamas
- The Bahamas Government and Symonette Enterprises have signed a
contract for $3,852,092.02 to reconstruct and repair roads in Mathew
Town, Inagua.

The scope of work includes clearing of 60,589 yards

Progress made on Nassau roadworks

PROGRESS is continuing to be made on roadworks around Nassau.

Most recently completed has been the paving on Market Street from Ross Corner to Brougham Street, and the area is now open again to traffic.

Work continues on other parts of Market Street, along with areas of Prince Charles Drive, Baillou Hill Road and Soldier Road.
