BTC DIRECTORY FEE 7 HIGHER THAN REGION'S

BTC: NO NEW DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE CHARGES IN THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE

BTC officials have moved to assure the public that there is no immediate plan to charge for directory assistance.

BTC seeks permission to charge for 916 directory

THE Bahamas Telecommunications Company has requested the Utilities and Regulation and Competition Authority's permission to charge customers for the use of its 916 directory.

Cell phone and normal phone line users could start paying for calls to directory assistance if the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) gets its way.
