Govt to issue web shop licenses by early 2015

A formal invitation to apply for web shop licenses will be released by mid-November and the government expects to "go live" and begin issuing licenses by early 2015, Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe said yesterday.

Web shops legal as of Monday

Web shops will be "legal" as of Monday, Tourism Minister Obie Wilchcombe said yesterday.
However, Wilchcombe said those businesses, which meet the requirements of the government's request for proposals (RFPs), will be regulated in April or May 2015.
