Case against robber-accused dropped

A man yesterday dropped a case against the man police had charged with robbing him.
Justice Roy Jones directed an acquittal against Robinson Pierre after Darryl Miller told the court he did not want to proceed with the case.
Prosecutors alleged that Pierre had robbed Miller of $485 at gunpoint on February 16, 2009.
Darnell Dorsette was the prosecutor and Dorsey McPhee appeared for Pierre.
