Gov't must 'capture' informal economy

Failed insurer 'asset stripped'

The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation is calling on the government to delay the implementation of the requirement for audits for businesses over $5m for 12 months. The requirement, which was passed in the 2023 budget will require companies with turnover above $5m to produce audited accounts by April2024.
