Some more relief may be on the way for Inagua residents who were victims of Hurricane Ike. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham said the government will most likely table an exigency order in the House of Assembly, sometime soon.

St. Matthew's Anglican Church youth members engage in spiritual retreat in Inagua, engage in educational pursuits and visit sick and shut-ins

The youthful members of St. Matthew's traveled to Matthew Town, Inagua, for a spiritual retreat, but also took time out from their fun, frolic and fellowship to help beautify the St. Philip Church and Parish Hall by picking up trash; and to bring a spot of cheer to senior citizens and shut-in members on the island by visiting them and serenading them and presenting them with gift bags.

Inagua on alert for TS Emily

Inagua remains under Tropical Storm alert.
At 2pm the centre of Tropical Storm Emily was estimated from an Airforce plane to be near latitude 15.6 degrees north and longitude 64.8 degrees west.
Emily has resumed a westward motion at 12 miles an hour and on the forecast track, the centre will be near the coast of Hispaniola on Wednesday.
