SCAM ALERT

My wife and I were on vacation in Bahamas and bought a diamond ring. We traded her ring as well as paid a TON of money for the new ring. When we got back home to the states, we had the diamond appraised and it was not nearly close at all to the quality that we were sold on. Further more, we recently had the diamond assessed again to see about selling it for something smaller, and after speaking with more than 5 reputable diamond experts in NYC (biggest diamond market it the world), we were again extremely surprised that the diamond was LESS than half of what we paid for it. DO NOT BUY DIAMONDS FROM THEM!!! I've been going to the Bahamas for years and have a well known status at Atlantis. I will be sure to bring this to their attention since they have a shop on the property of the marina (Atlantis)...

Beware

I recently visited the Park Lane jewelry sore In Marina Village on Paradise Island. I bought a bracelet that was represented to be black diamonds. On return to the US, I reviewed the manufacturers website and found it was actually spinels - a much less expensive material.
