This movie was incredible, if you like poetry it will definately be a good watch. The fact that Tyler Perry didn't write it is great, but his direction was amazing.

Okay...so this movie was not horrible, but Janet Jackson's acting was a train wreck. Why does Tyler Perry keep putting her in his pictures..Janet's good acting is behind her. I feel that the story was powerful but when they broke into poetry that just threw the whole movie off. I would give it a 7 out of 10. Poetry is a great thing, but it did not belong in that movie..the only part of the poetry that seemed to fit was the lines delivered by Macy Gray and it was believable because she was suppose to be drunk or high or both at the time.
