Creating Malas and Miracles Hosted by Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas

Thursday 8th November 2018  12:00 PM

Wearing and using a mala is a sacred practice — and creating your own adds an element of both fun and meaning. Learn the sacred art of mala making and infuse your own personal intention in your own handmade mala. Satya Scainetti, founder of Satya Jewelry, will guide you through the process and help you discover how you can use your mala in daily practice to manifest miracles.

Creating a personal mala opens the heart and serves as a talisman for individual empowerment. Each attendee will leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind mala uniquely designed for their own well-being that they are encouraged to use for a daily meditation practice.

Satya uses the mala as a metaphor for life: a small knot between each of the beads represents a challenge or transition between the smoother aspects of life. How can we learn from these obstacles and triumph over them to arrive at the next miracle? How do we stay equanimous when we wish things were different?

This program consists of two parts so participants can make both a mala necklace and a mala bracelet, using prayer and meditation to set powerful intentions for the year ahead.

Rudraksha seeds are included, and gemstones of your choice are available at cost.

Offered as 4 workshops (subject to change)
