Maybe you know, maybe you don't. This explanation is for those that fall under the latter. This is a mind-stimulating, adrenaline-fueled event that aims to forge great ideas into reality.

Essentially, Hackathon participants have 24 hours to tackle complex challenges presented by industry sponsors and The Bahamas ecosystem in general (ie. eCommerce, Digital Payments, Education ). The reward? More than $6,000 in cash along with other prizes, along with the thrill of building something amazing from imagination.

On top of all of that this is a great opportunity for programmers, web developers and other software development professionals to collaborate on a project in a creatively-charged environment.
