Description
Nestled on the sleepy northern tip of the largest island within the archipelago of the Bahamas sits two tiny churches that make up the great Parish of St. Margaret's, Andros. Surrounded by beautiful water, hearty farm land and teeming creeks and blue holes, the churches of St Margaret's and St. Mary Magdalene, located in Nicholl's Town and Mastic Point respectively, are blessed to enjoy God's natural bounty every day.
We also cherish our rich history and work to continue a legacy of excellence through our various church groups including ACM, ACW, Gitls' Brigade, children's choirs, liturgical dance ministry and Sunday School.
The church dates back over more than 100 years and is said to have been built by Fr. Sweeting, one of the first black Bahamian priests. The church is located on the seaside and is one of the landmarks of the community.
Come join us when you're in our neck of the woods we'd be happy to have you!
