Minister of the Environment Kenred Dorsett yesterday stated that although the ministry has received a signed incident report from the Department of Environmental Health Services (DEHS) regarding fuel leakage at Rubis' Sandyport marina service station, it would not release the findings until it had completed further investigations considering additional potential sources of fuel leakage.

A prominent environmental attorney yesterday slammed assertions by Minister of Health Dr. Perry Gomez and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) that Marathon residents had experienced "no significant adverse effects" in the wake of the 2012/2013 spill at Rubis' Robinson Road station as an attempt to cover up poor management on the government's part.
